Seattle has the excellent Museum of Flight. Besides its wonderful collection and exhibits, it has periodic panel discussions by WWII pilots, which have been fantastic. (In summer, the Collings Foundation visits, where you can buy half-hour flights in their B-17, B-24, B-25, and P-51, but this is sounding like a get together sooner than that.)30 minutes north of Seattle is the Flying Heritage Collection of WWII aircraft that are taken out and flown from time to time. That's the place where the Me 262 new builds are, as well.Who should we add to the following list of folks within driving distance of Seattle?Tomcat2168Zoomwaystin2Wedge1126Bear76BabalonianNemisisYeager4440BrookeRapierGazoomNewmanRoscorooRabbidrabbitSloehand

Seattle to LA is a healthy 21 hour drive without lengthy stops.
Naaa, it's not. If I remember, it's only around 4 hours from LA to SF, and I've done Seattle to SF in 8-9 hours. No problem.
