So I go with the wife to her photo gallery exhibit and she wins honorable mention and comes in second on the people's choice ballot.

I go to the local audition for the new Ben Affleck movie and the girl I chatted with in the 3 hour queue gets a callback.

I'm sure the panel would have been well impressed with that knowledge

No, but I did tell the judges about the fine photograph of a T-6 Texan she took.  And I held the audition girl's purse when she went to the bathroom.

No but I found a lucky penny under a horseshoe next to a four-leaf clover.

Of her? She's married dude.  Look for her in the paparazzi section of the paper.  That'll be me with the dark glasses and earpiece behind her.
