The person who said air shows should be free since we pay for it in our tax dollars is right.  If they needed money to run the show they should allow entry on donation so people can pay what they can afford especially in current economic times, at least if the air force or any other branch does it.  However private citizen run airshows i guess are another story......If they claim the proceeds go to charity they should have to specify how much is actually going to charity.

by the way did they give discounts to seniors and or students ???

no. it costs enormous amounts of money to fly these fighters.

the ww2 teams are paid to be there. there's a lot to take into consideration.....it's perfectly fair to have to pay.

they don't cost anything at mcguire afb either. well....for me they did. one of them, i think i got 8 hours sleep total for the weekend, as i was running cap's transportation there.......it's ok though, 'cause it was a BLAST.

yea....i went to reading...i think 2 or 3 years ago. that's about what it cost us.......

when you think of the expense of the aircraft on display, not to mention the ones flying.......it is more than worth it.........
