« on: November 15, 1999, 08:32:00 PM »

My system consist of a Diamond Monster 3D II Acclerator..  I have updated to the current drivers.. Now I am unable to type text.. IE I am unable to type in my user name and password.  Now I don't know if has anything to do with my Acclerator Card, but that was the last thing I updated.  Anyone have any answers? Any advise now would be helpful!

Yes, I did play WB until a few weeks ago..
I got tired of the warping.. And the way they put the Spitfire so high on its pedestal, if you know what I mean.

Back to my problem… I am starting to think it is a problem with my mouse. I am currently using the Microsoft PS2 mouse with wheel, maybe I need to update my drivers on that, never really thought that would enable me from playing a game.  I was mistaken it isn’t though I couldn't type, I just can’t click on the text boxes to type.

Any advise would help.

Well, I tried deleting the video.cfg. Didn't help.  I am able to get into the game at least to the login screen. I am able to move my cursor around, but unable to click in the login ID text box to enter my login ID.

Help!

Moon look for a file called login.cfg in the settings folder of Aces High. In there if it exist type in your user ID and below your password that you were given.

Guess what they had a server out last night first one sence they started beta, and there not even on a T1 line yet.

Didnt you just get married or something remember somthing on AGW about you. Congrats to you and your partner.

This game is alot of fun the view system is the nicest I have seen, kinda like the bobing around in the seat. Im doing better here then WB and I think this is harder.
Clouds are great to.

One more thing make sure your joystick is calibrated it will dump you to desk top if not, You need to select video also it will do 1600x1200 if you have horse power to run it. Make sure the polled with interupts is off and try with it on HT says it makes a difference. Im using DX7 no problems. Trying to think of all possible fixes. What primary card do you have installed. Let me know if any of this helps if not Ill look for more clues.

When I opened it up initially it didn't have anything there...

I did just get married a little bit over a month ago. It has been pretty good so far.
We a currently in the transition of moving to Texas.  I will try and play as much as I can, but you know how that moving thing goes.

Hope to see ya up soon....

Congratulations to you and your groom on your wedding, Stacy.  I saw the pictures on agw - it looked like a beautiful setting for your ceremony.

So, you just can't stay away from Texas, huh?  Me, either.  I hope you'll drop in and see us once you get settled.

Well, Hello Ronnie..

Didn't think you had time to read such game problems as mine.. hehe.. just joking..

It was a nice wedding.. Or what I remember of it .. That wine will get to you after awhile.

Moving back to Texas, really nothing for me here.. I have gotten in contact with some people with GTE there.. and if at all possible (Crossing my fingers) I may get a job screening their webpages.. "Not a fun job, but someone has got to do it!"  I have been self-teaching myself HTML and ASP for the past year.

I will drop by the office once I am there and say hello....
