Looking for an historical RAF squad.
« on: August 30, 2010, 11:17:18 PM »
Any out there? Been flying the Spits a lot (mainly the 1, 5, and 9) in the EW and LW, and looking for an historically based unit to wing up with. One that tries to fly 'accurately' (ie- Try and get everyone home and accomplish a set objective rather than just mindless furballing and strat porking) would be preferred.

If any squads are looking, I'm still quite rusty after almost a year out of the game, but I'm still managing to get about a 3:1 KD in the SpitV and 6:1 in the IX, and I'm always looking to learn and improve. My hit % sucks, especially in the EW, but thats primarily due to the fact that I can't figure out the ballistics on the .303s yet!
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

You can always check out The Few / The Eagle Aces. They arent exactly a historical squad, however many of The Few pilots are from Europe and they fly British aircraft. Youll see them doing all sorts of ops: base take, GVs, fighter sweeps, etc. PM Bruv119 or DrBone and they will tell ya everything you need to know. Theyre all good group of guys and Im sure theyll let you fly with them.

Must be historical? I'm looking for an European squad. We can start a new squad if you won't find one.

Technically we have stopped recruiting but feel free to hang out on vox 171 knights. We will take new members who are dead set on joining. If you want to fly with us and see how it goes then make up your mind later, no problem.
