Hiya guys,

 Sundog was nice enough to type up some rules for us to fly by in the SEA.

1.    The teams are:

Knights= Spit (any varient) P51, P38, B17, Panzer, M16 and C47

Bishops= 190, 109 (any varient) Macci (any varient) b26, Panzer, M16 and C47.

2.    The Base Ops are:

Knights=Airfield A14

Bishops=Airfield A3

(these are the bases we've been using although your not restricted to these, they just make a nice place to fight)

3.    Turn ALL Icons Off: Use Alt-I to disable Icons. This is the honor system. If you follow it, I guarantee you will have some of the most exciting Combat Sim Flying you have ever had!

4.    Bombers:

Allied=B-17

Axis=B-26 (substitute for the ju88)

No 26's for the allies because it could get confusing. Ju-88 is otw though

5.    When joining PLEASE check the numbers and try to equal      out the team numbers when you first join.

6. Have fun! This will only get better when the Terrain editor is released.

 This is very preliminary and please feel free to make suggestions for changes.  It will be a while before we get a "real" HA, but I figure I'm not the only one looking for some sort of historical flavor.  I think we have enough planes to do at least late war Europe and some mid war Afrika fighting.

 I want to make this one point.  It is not my intention to make ANY kind of fracture in our community.  I don't and won't have an elitist attitude about flying with no icons or anything like that.  I hope that nobody else does either.  I am trying to start our HA because I think it's fun, and I think others do/will too.  It will be squirrely at first, but I bet once we get the terrain editor and a good CM tool this thing will be kick arse to say the least.

see you guys at 8pm central

Interesting how the B26 is no longer available to the Allies after we closed your two bases multiple times last night.

I'm not sure I agree with removing it from Allied but I agree the Luftwaffles should be able to use the B26 but why remove it from the Allies?

Udie, I salute you in your efforts for the HA and I must say my flights in the HA last night were some of the best times I've ever had in AH!.

See you tonight!  Maybe I'll fly the Axis tonight to see how it is to watch all the silver dots, I know it's damn hard to tell the difference between the dark colored dots.

Mox, B-26 is playing Ju 88, so it's disabled for Allies to prevent IFF screwups.

yup, sure is mox
playing ju88 is just an excuse, watch the axis use those birds just like we did.  There's always asking for IFF to avoid the ID problems.  Just takes a second, and it's not hard to tell if one is on an attack profile

See ya'll in the MA

You may have to program the ALT-I keyboard button to make the Icons disappear.

Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

I think one possible exception to the icon rule would be the ground vehicles. As everyone uses the same vehicle, icons really should be enabled.

Looks like it is western allies vs Axis forces.

I don't have a problem allowing the LA5 to be flown for the Allies.
