C202 dmg model
« on: September 05, 2010, 09:34:42 AM »
Ive been flyin the 202 for about 3 days now and noticed that any damage taken and I mean any at all results in loss of the aircraft, Am I just crazy or does the 202 need to be re modeled.
Everytime Ive taken a hit been Ive been instantly downed, no flap damage no control surface damage Instant loss of the aircraft.....period. The reason I bring this up is because of the up coming scenario in the Med. where 202s will take part. Going to be a serious issue once the cartoon bullets start flyin.

I seriously doubt there is an issue with the damage model probably an issue with the amount of luck you have been having lately.

As a C2 lover and a pilot of the plane for many years before it recently got a lot of attention: You can and will receive all kinds of damage, including controls, oil, radiator, guns, fuel tanks, pilot wounds, and many more.

I've taken a serious beating in the C202 many times.

You just are getting totally pummeled at once. Or you have serious lag issues (all damage being applied at once) or you just have blinders on and let somebody unload on you :P
