I know in my other wishes, I usually try to go into as much detail as possible about what I am wishing for, but this time, I am wishing for more Yak variants to be represented, after the ones we have now are redone of course, but I would like to see how well this catches on before I go through possibly hours of work to get every single detail of the many many variants there were. I know not everybody here is too excited about more allied planes in the game at the moment, but, I have noticed, allied or not, every other major nation in the ETO, has a "well represented" line up of there "work horse" fighters, a few examples being USA : 5 P47's Germany : 6 Bf109's UK :6 Spitfires, the only country in the ETO that doesn't have an early war to late war lineage of their main fighters is the USSR again I wont go into detail about it, but I will if this thread catches on, here are some variants of the Yak line of fighters that I would like to see in the distant future of Aces High:
Yak-1 or 1M, Yak-9D (or Dalnyi "long range"), Yak-9L (four vertical bomb bays similar to the Il-2 I believe), Yak-7A (trainer conversion, two cockpits remained, only one was used, armament similar to the 9U, but It had the ability to carry 6 RO-82 rockets), and last but not least ( you didn't think I forgot did you

) the Yak-3, the reason why I think it is important to eventually have some of these variants in the game, is because more so then the spitfires, 109's are even P47's, each of the variants have all these little things that set them apart from each other, the Yak-1 or 1M would give us something for the early war (the 9T we have in game is a later version with armoured glass and rounder octagonanal spinner) the Yak-9D would give the Yak's some more use in the longer range missions, the L would give us something to make the GV'ers more upset, the 7A could give us a neat looking EW ground attack plane, and the 3, well it would be another late war monster, but just a bit better looking then all the others.
Hopefully you all didn't die of boredom reading this, but as I say if this thread sparks some interest, I can dig up lots of specs, and other neat info about all of these planes, thanks for reading
