P-51 squads - what are your standard skins?

How many Pony squads are there Oboe? Need any help with this?

No idea how many pony-dedicated squads there are - I was hoping this thread would begin to put a number on it, but it hasn't helped a lot.  I'm pretty sure the 412th Braunco Mustangs fly Ponies, but not sure which skin they use, if any.  The 353rd and the 325thVFG have clear choices, and I do see the blue-nosed Cripes A'Mighty often in the air, as well as the 4th FG's Man O'War (both Fencer's skins).   I assume Fester's skins see alot of use, too.

Apart from the implied connection between historical FGs and their 51s, I'm at a loss to determine which 51s are seeing regular squad use.  (And I haven't even started on the '51B).

I'm a little surprised how often I see the default skins for both the 51B and D up; maybe that indicates a number of people don't use custom skins, or really like the default skin's subject.  I think both defaults are nice-looking schemes and hold up well against many of the submitted skins.

But yeah, Slash - if you can help ID the 51 skins that have regular squad use, that'd be great and appreciated!

I was hoping the same. Too many good skins in limbo for no good reason in my opinion.

I use 4th FG almost always, I am 412th Mustang. But we all usually use diff. skins. I will start taking notes on which skins my squaddies use.

1 ACG skin always when in a P51D, i forget the skin i use for the 51B though. its the tiger mouth skin. my favorite by far of all the 51s.

i always fly the 78th for the D. for the b it changes with what i feel. but usually its got some red paint.

I don't think are any strickly P51 squads anymore. Maybe the Midwest FG and the 412th. I don't know about LCA now.

Being I am not in a squad, but I usually go with the Blue Nosed One. And speaking of which, beautiful skin you had TwinB

This and the checkered nose are both great skins.

I normally use  Festers BBD skin.   for some reason the 51 skin always goes back to default for me .

Me too. That and it goes to 25% fuel.
