Trust to take Bush’s Heisman
« on: September 07, 2010, 09:21:35 AM »
Violations in the USC football program made Bush ineligible for the 2005 season.

"The Heisman Trophy Trust is expected to strip former University of Southern California star running back Reggie Bush of college football’s top honor by the end of September, sources told Yahoo! Sports."

School boosters are the root of alot of these schools issues.  I don't think boosters should be let anywhere near student athletes since they prove time and again that they can't keep money in their pockets.

How exactly do you do that though?

I had a roommate in college who's Dad was banned by the NCAA from having any involvement with the University of Florida booster club.  He was one of Charlie Pell's recruiting financiers during his tenure there.  I also know some folks that were wrapped up in the interesting activities of the NCSU escorts during the mid 90's.  Bottom line is that the boosters can/will/do more to get a school in trouble than the coaches can even imagine.

As a UNC-Ch alumni, I'm expecting some of that behind our current "tutor writing papers" issue.  I could be wrong--we'll see.

Vince has already said that he doesn't want any part of it.
