How to stop hordes?

  It doesnt matter really what you do. You either fight it and become vulch targets, or defeat it and they suddenly appear at another base thats undefended. Gets old. The whole base take thing just isnt part of my game anymore. I liked it for awhile, and I can understand why folks do it. The hoard thing wouldnt even be so bad if they just stayed at the fight rather than moving on when they find resistance.

I agree, they also seem like they absolutely must come with so much overkill to take it, not to create a fight but to end it as fast as they can, or not come at all unless there is such overwhelming 10 to 1 odds in their favor.

no clue bro.doing all i can to keep my mind busy and off things. But by the way things are looking right now, its gonna be a long while. Have too many irons in the fire. Trying to save money, pops didnt have insurance so everything came out of my pocket, plus im trying to remodel my house. So im extremely strapped for cash right now.

i saw 15-20 fighters show up at a vbase that was already flat from cv bombardment last nite.

Cant stand the hordes in general, last two nights always seem to get jumped by 4 to 6 guys hunting in a pack,  heck i dont mind a  2v1 ( never expect a 1v1 anymore)  but for craps sakes why all 5 dive in like a pack of starving dogs ill never know, well i do know but ill keep that to myself...

I guess many will say something along the lines of: "so what? they are flying as a group, thats good. Get a bunch of your buddies to fly with you and you'll have an even fight"

Personally, I feel that improving your individual flying should be the main focus once the requirement of fun has been met. If I see a con being chased by 5 guys, I'll stay out of it because I'm unlikely to get the kill, and even if I do, so what? I didn't DO anything but get lucky by being in a faster plane or by having more alt than the others had. Instead, I'll fly on till I can find a 1v1 or, that failing, a 2v2.

that's how you may fight but not everyone fights like you do.
