Ack-Ack never said it saw combat, he said they blew it up when the soviets drew near.

perdweeb pretty much said the same thing, just worded differently.  I believe that when the Maus at the Kummersdorf (outside of Berlin) was blown up by the Germans the Soviets were literally within the proving grounds.  Kind of like when Baghdad Ali was giving his famous "The Americans are not at the Baghdad Airport" press conference when you can hear the tank and automatic weapon fire from the US forces that had breached the airport perimeter and were advancing up the runway.

When I said "it never saw combat as Ack Ack mentioned" I was agreeing with him. Should have been a comma there, I apologize for the confusion. And do not believe Wiki. You'll learn that in college. Wikipedia sucks a big fat one, never trust it. use the sources listed at the bottom.

The book itself includes many other experimental German tanks. Lambert Surhone is a Nazi historian in all areas, politics, semantics, military, etc. He wrote the articles for the Beta Publishing article. Wikipedia published it and added their article also. I am not sure how publishing works, but anything Surhone is involved in, it is usually very accurate.

Nemisis, find me better evidence and i'll be open minded to change.

Aren't these the same tank?

Yep.   But they're both in caps!

I get you know. I thought you meant he said it saw combat, and that you were saying otherwise.

I haven't heard much about surhone, and I'm cautious of anything with ties to wikipedia since it has biten me in the face once or twice. I believe you, just wondering if it was the same book.
