So I washed the car

and the rains came a runnin... this is about a half mile from my office Fort Worth TX

I know of at least one car wash around here that gives you a free wash if it rains within 24 hours after you get your car washed!

sorry misleading title.... it's been raining like crazy here for the last two days with more to come.  It's an old joke about if you wash your car it's guaranteed to rain soon.

We will be getting that rain by tonight.  NOAA put us under "Flash Flood Warning" since last night.

I'm north west of you up here in Bowie and we didn't have that kind of flooding here. We did get about 4'' of rain though.  Looking at the radar now i'm sitting inside the center of the storm.
rain may be over for us here

I'll agree with that one for sure.......  It's the main reason I never wash it anymore...... Unless we have drought conditions   :aok

I don't know exactly how much it rained yesterday, a lot, but there is still about four inches of water in the bed of my truck.
