Tanks VS trees
« on: September 12, 2010, 11:11:28 AM »
I wish that they could make a tank that wasnt stoped by a tiny little bush or overturned by a plant the size of a rose bush lol.

You guys are looking at this wrong, someone had asked for landmines, so HTC gave them to us, in the form of little plants, because real landmines are against the Geneva convention.

You are forgetting something else... :noid

How do you explain the leaves on the tree stopping your tank rounds?  :headscratch: HE, maybe.  AP, I am thinking not likely...

321bar he has our permission too.  trees we can understand (but we dont like) but bushes stopping rounds and flipping tanks is really over-ridiculous.  arguments against it are in the thousands.

I don't understand what you mean by "without destroying the GV model." I say this because: You can already drive through some of the little bushes. It depends on the size.. or if it's a hedge. Then it becomes Rubber Baby Buggy Bumbers. I'll have to dig out a film I have that has me hitting a tree and I went around like a Pinball for about 60 seconds before some kind enemy soul bombed me, ending my game, with no Multi-ball bonus round.   :joystick:

got it, make it similar to how the coad allows to drive thru enemy tanks and not flip or crash.

It means "code" in Texas.  as in programming coad.

what i mean by this is that iirc, when HTC tries to fix the GVs flipping on trees and bushes other bugs pop up that ruin the gaming for GVers. i don't know the specifics but i remember reading this somewhere in the forums. i'll try and find the quote but i doubt i will be able to

I've heard the same thing from many players but I do not recall reading about it from HT staff.  In the game, it only happens a few times, then you learn to deal with it. but it is still annoying.  Cant tell if that "bug", the arena caps or my ex-wife makes me drink more.
