Jeebus...the meaning is quite clear and doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.  Imagine that air combat is the Sun and like our Sun everything in the game revolves around air combat.  It just doesn't mean that the air portion will receive more attention than other portions, it is stating that the bread and butter of this game is air combat and everything else is pretty much secondary.

The japanese 45mm's were low velocity, intended for infintry support IIRC. We'd do better getting a jap tank with the 37mm.

You mean the Type 1 47mm anti-tank gun as the IJA didn't field a 45mm gun.  The problem with the Type 1 47mm anti-tank gun (based off the Soviet 45mm anti-tank gun) wasn't low muzzle velocity but rather short sightedness of the Japanese.  The Japanese would design anti-tank guns with their own standard tanks as the norm to be beaten.  They built the anti-tank guns that were good at doing that and then considered their anti-tank guns to beat everyone else's tanks since they only expected to face light tanks from the Allies in a general war scenario and their anti-tank guns were able to beat any Chinese armor they faced in China.

Puck, you reminded me of something. Often, fights are started by GV's, not aircraft. Its the more couragous GV'ers that start a base flashing and draw out the hoard.


Also, I absolutly despise the new mossie, and feel it needs to be perked with the 234 if not higher. Is 4000lbs of tiger killing delivered at 325mph.
