<S> Soulyss
« on: September 13, 2010, 11:29:41 PM »
Since I couldn't play for the longest time with router troubles, I have been very rusty lately. I went into the TA this evening to see if I could help a newer player get some basics down. Ended up getting taught quite a bit from Soulyss. Stuff I once knew and stuff that is new to me feels pretty good knowing. I can't thank you enough Soulyss. I'll be back to learn the P-38 sometime, however many sessions it may take. :)

Soulyss is one of the good folks in the game.  I'm surprised he could teach you much however, as he tends to wreck his P38s fairly quickly :)

The only time I remember him going down was when he was too busy teaching and didn't watch the go-juice dial  :lol He would rather teach and glide than land. <S>

Glad I was able to help, was a fun way to spend the evening.   If I can find someone who can actually benefit from all the mistakes I've made over the years in my career as a cartoon fighter pilot, all those trips back to the tower and wrecked planes then so much the better. :)

Yes Soulyss is 1 of the top 38 drivers in the game. I have been trounced many a time by him and his wingies. The 38 is the only plane I truely had a hard time with due to the fact that my burst almost always went through that big hole between the booms. If I didn't kill it in the first pass I kept right on trucken till I gained my alt and speed advantage and had another go at it.

He's also following in Guppy's footsteps and becoming a tyrant.  i don't know who gave me more of a tongue lashing the other night because I wouldn't carry bombs or vulch.
