The Hardware Forum might be the best place for that question.

Also we first have to know your configuration: What CPU, what kind slot is available, and how much power your PSU has.

I always look at the "Best graphics cards for the money" articles on Tom's Hardware:

I'm using the Radeon 5970 it is a very long card and wont fit into most cases. But most of the 5k series Radeons put out some very nice graphics.

Mine running at resolution of 1920 x 1200 at over 100 fps with 2x anti alasing puts out a stunning picture with all settings turned up water plane skins etc.

if your into the eye candy Ati is the way to go at a reasonable price.

Good luck  :aok

Better open that HP case take a picture and post it along with measurements.  Some good cards might not fit in it or the ps is probably not good enough.

I've got two ATI HD5850's, it's a great card.

One card will run 2048 textures, 4000 smooth shadowing, advanced terrian, relfections. 8x AA, max ground distance and still stay around 70-90 FPS range. But I do have a Core I7 CPU overclocked, which I'm sure helps keep the frames high.

Post the puter model and picture of how it looks inside.  some brand name comouters have no space inside to add anything.  Also your ps may have to be upgraded, they usually add the cheapest ones they can find.  So basically may be limited in your choices.
