Both nice planes and a nice list. If this were to happen, most of the planes will be in the MA. As far as I know very little people are in WWI arena. And this could boast the population there.

I can see having a 37-39 planeset and arena.

That Polikarpov I-190 looked pretty interesting to me!

So you want a spanish civil war arena?
A lot of the planes listed in the OP flew in WWII, or just prior.  Heck, the Finns probably flew with or against half of them.

I would like to see the planes from the late 1930's.  Not just the Spanish Civil War era, but the Winter War, Khalkhin Gol, and the Sino-Japanese wars.

In AH terms, these would be hangar queens, unfortunately.

How often do you see I-16s in MA? If we add that whole list to MA people would complain because other people fly late war planes, or would not fly them at all.

I see what your saying, but I don't think it's going to work out in MA. Maybe for special events it will.

I agree with you.  This is what I meant by predicting that the cool early planes would be hangar queens in the LW MAs.

All planes are cool.  Earlier birds tend to be less refined.  They were developed, for the most part, along theoretical lines as opposed to combat experience.  The Spanish Civil War was used as a proving ground for aerial tactics and strategy.

With regards to the I-16, it is ranked number 4 in my personal 'Kills As' fighter list since Tour 123:

Plane  - Kills As
C.205 - 158
Brewster B-239 - 121
Yak-9U - 85
I-16 - 78
Hurricane Mk I - 37

Out of 717 total kills.  All Late War.
