I feel that mixing up theaters is fine just sees like when we do ETO, Eastern Front is overlooked. If t a mp poblem, as you pointed out, that is understandable. But if the excuse is that we don't have the planeset I am not understanding. We don't have a very goo Japanese plane set either yet we do tem 6 times a year.

If my argument doesn't make sense I will stop complaining. If it does, my we add a litle more Eastern Front please?

Coming late to this thread but one of the reason's we don't do Easter Front Setups more often is there aren't any specific terrains for it. When creating an event designers usually take a look at available terrains when planning.

For a true Eastern Front the closest we have is the old Hungary map.

Currently some newer Eastern Front terrains are in the works but creating a terrain is a time consuming and long process. When one becomes available I am sure one of the CM designers will swap out his design for an Eastern Front design since we like to get new terrains into rotation as soon as possible.

well there was an eastern front campaign in January so that means there is at least one map we could use.

That was shoehorned into the old Hungary terrain, and required Stoney to do a lot of compromising.
Easy in-game again.

And I'll just throw it right back at you:

Early PTO is about evenly matched (SBD/F4F v Z6M/D3a/B5n), BOB is about evenly matched maybe the edge going to LW (fast Ju88s almost uncatchable, 110Cs ruling the skies), and anything over Britain, France, Germany up to early 1943 is usually tilted slightly in favor of the german hardware, including most North Africa setups.

It's not always ideal, no, but it's really not applicable to make that statement with such a wide scope.

I agree, but dont you notice we dont do BoB? We do plenty of early PTO. And the BoB FSO gives the Luft an advantage because of the lack of an He 111. Not saying they're gonna give the Allies a victory or an advantage but the Luft advantage would not be as great with an He 111.

So in closing, Axis has an advantage in early PTO and BoB (due to a technicality). Hell, with the right squads the Axis will win every FSO advantage or disadvantage, which we are doing at the moment.

Not so much that I want an advantage or complaining about having a disadvantage, I like being the underdog. But my favorite theatre is Eastern Front and I hate seeing it get neglected.
