I don't see why not.

You'd probably have to install the SideWinder controller software, even though it's not needed in AH.

I have a Diamond MonsterSound MX300 card (Aureal chipset based) and an old MS SideWinder 3D Pro. It doesn't work if the SideWinder controller software is not installed (I never had to use it for WB or AH).

The SideWinder software is not compatible with Win2k, so I obviously can't install it, which means my joystick won't work in Win2k.

Myself and one of my squad mates use an Aureal Vortex 2 card.  We also both use MS P Pros with no problems whatsoever.  (There is always the USB option if you do have problems though.)

You should be fine.
