Hmm, I dunno. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, but there comes a time when you need to leave it be.

"The current plan is to kick off the 3-D makeover in 2012 with the retrofitted first prequel in the space opera series, 1999's "Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace," and then follow with the five other movies, in numerical order, in consecutive years, according to The Hollywood Reporter."

I'm intriqued and gonna go actually to see them and support it (especialy the original 3, how cool is TESB gonna be in 3d!)... maybe if more people are likeminded they'll bust out an episode VII in 2018.

I might see the Original Trilogy. DEFINITELY won't waste my time on the Prequels unless I have a VERY good reason to go (and that reason better have a killer set of legs and be wearing a short skirt).

The only Star Wars I would be interested in seeing in 3D would be the 2 death star runs.  Trench run from A new hope and the tunnel flight from RotJ would be epic in 3D, other than that no thanks George
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

I am a big SW fan and I agree the only few parts would be good in 3D; Trench Runs and Leila is her Slave Swimsuit  :x

There's confirmation that the Hobbit will be done in 3D as well.

3D at this stage is just too gimmicky for me, but everyone wants to do it now because Avatar made so much money
