I officially called my museum project finished today. It really has been finished since August, but I kept adding more so I never called it done until now.
For graduation, it is required that you must do a job shadow or community service. I didn’t know any pilots so I wasn’t going to do a job shadow. I am a member of Air Heritage Inc. which is an aviation museum and restoration group and I thought what better way than to help out the museum by redoing their entire landscaping as it was in really poor condition. So in March I brought it up at the board meeting and they all liked the idea, so I began drawing up plans. After starting at a $3000 project, I was able to shed it down to "$1000" and they gave me the go-ahead in May.
I must say, I’m very proud of it. It amazes me how much of a difference it really is from the before and finished project.
