resetting sound

well his PC is a month old, fast dual cpu, plenty RAM, decent soundcard etc. you're right though, sound is surprisingly screwy on PCs. I must have spent 10x the time getting sound working well than GPUs, joystick etc over the years.

Then HTC shouldn't have switched to the Miles system.  Jolly is having the same problems with my old pack, which is all in mono and worked fine for him for years on his old pc.  If it was a problem with the pack, everyone would be reporting this.  Plus, the sounds that he loses are still in mono.  Additionally, my new pack is a third of the size of the previous version (I noticed all the packs repeat some of the same sounds in different plane folder, which was a waste of memory and unnecessary).

Skuzzy, if Jolly turned his Hardware Acceleration down to 75% through Control Panel, would that possibly help?

Well I can't vouch for that, evidently you can, 

I don't know "if" the stereo sounds are used right in the custom packs, or if they are set right in the game to provide the correct sound/effect, all I know is it sounds coool!!
