It looks like I'm not the only one so I posted an official bug report here
http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,298007.0.htmlAlso, I think I narrowed it down, what is going on is windows is 'resetting' the driver because of a 'Video hardware error'. To see if this is the reason for you, go to
control pannel->Problem Reports and Solutions->view problem history
From there you should be able to select 'view a temporary copy of these files' where a folder will be opened and there should be a crash dump file.
