Search function
« on: October 06, 2010, 12:30:22 PM »
I do not understand how this works. I search something, and it gives me something unrelated to what I searched. Will one of you search Nazis please explain the proper use of the search function?

Advanced search can help you narrow it down.

You can all make fun of mein feind all you want, the Advanced Search can be screwy sometimes too.

I'm not joking. Whenever I try and search something like "A bird" it will give me every thread with the letter A in it, usually not having anything to do with what I searched. Can someone explain to me what I should be doing?

Type the name of what you what in the box.

   Click advanced search

I leave the 2 boxes unchecked top left

and check the box that searches all forums

In the days between boxes, put like 1 - 30 days it will go back a month. Narrows it down a bit.

always use advanced search - the quick search is broken.
