Whats the loadout again?

My wish for this post is a very simple one.

I cannot count how many times someone in my squad has asked what the load out is for our flight or mission.

I wish that HTC could 'coad' a dot command to tell other player what out load out is.

This would be simple in my eyes,

-Open the text channel you would like to put the load out message in. Say squad channel.
-Type the dot command just like any other, .planeload
-The load out would be taken from what you have selected in the hanger and put it into a message that could read.

Fuel:100% Pylon: 2 x 150gal DT GnPCK: #1 (Labeled closest to farthest)

I realize there could be problems with this, any suggestions?

Yea your type .loadout......so do the extra 4 letters and say 50% with a drop and the red and blue skin

Hmmm, 17-8 = 4?  Think we should offer math courses here.

Seems like a good wish though, would be very useful in scenarios.  We had Cryptic typing/speaking out the loadout every time someone asked and that was close to 10 times each pre-scenario wait in the Phil. Phandango since we had walk-ons and people not knowing how to view the Squad MOTD.  Typing "B24s 50% 500lbers ---##/## by --- skin NE RW" every few minutes gets annoying.

i dont seem to have a problem with telling loadouts. i type it once when everyone in the flight is ready for the run. simple, wait till you got the attention of everyone...

Do people really sit in the tower constantly watching the mission board looking for any mission to join?  Just create a mission with enough room for only your guys.  Tell them when it's available and all join immediately before anyone else sees it.

Use vox at all?  Get everyone on channel 4 (Squad) and get them to shut their yaps for the minute it takes to tell them what to load.

... and then repeat it several times because people missed it. as usual.


squad (or preferably tuned-vox channel) only missions would make this much easier. plus you get waypoints

tell them the waypoints for your squad flights then... i have no problem with telling Flight Leads or lead members where to go and when to go there. and i myself know the mission so my flight just follows me. You get good commanding types in your crew and it runs very smoothly...

ImADot, there ARE actually some people that look at the mission planner. theyre called noobs, and they jump in missions on the planner the second its up sometimes.

by that logic we should get rid of the mission planner completely. I mean we can always use range/tuned vox and country text to set up a country mission right? while we're at it lets dump vox as well, as its just an "easymode" substitute for people who are too lazy to type.
