From CH Products
"CH Products releases its new USB controllers:
We are pleased to announce two new products to complete your HOTAS (Hands on stick and throttle) set-up.
USB Combatstick 568- Offers an eight way Point of View (POV) HAT (which replaces the 4 way from earlier versions of this model), one 4 way HAT and six push buttons. The 8 way POV HAT can be used as either a traditional POV HAT or all eight directions can be programmed to perform a variety of functions (mouse buttons, joystick buttons, keyboard strokes and combinations). And, if needed, the user can even disable the four intermediary positions on the 8 way POV HAT so that it functions as a 4 way POV HAT or switch. The other 4 way HAT switch has the same programming capability as the 8 way except that it is limited to 4 versus 8 programmable directions. As with our other USB devices, the axis of the Combatstick 568 can now be programmed with keyboard strokes. This feature allows the average gamer the ability to use his or her controller in games that previously did not have joystick support. With programmable keyboard strokes and the ability to "combine" controllers into what the game will recognize as a single device, the Control Manager software enables multiple controller inputs for games designed to support only one.
Part #200-568 Cost: $79.95
USB Fighterstick- Offers one 8 way POV HAT, 3 push buttons, one mode switch, three 4 way hat switches, and an LED Mode indicator light. Each of the traditional joystick buttons has the ability to be used as either a standard Direct X button or it can be programmed to emulate keystrokes or mouse buttons. The 8 way Point of View (POV) HAT can be used as either a traditional POV HAT or all eight directions can be programmed to any number of functions (mouse buttons, joystick buttons, keyboard strokes and combinations). You can even disable the four intermediary positions on the 8 way POV HAT so that it functions as 4 way POV HAT or switch. The other 4 way HAT switch has the same programming capability as the 8 way, except that it is limited to 4 versus 8 programmable directions that total 23 separate programmed functions, 24 if you disable the Mode Switch. The Mode capability is activated in the Control Manager software. Once activated, the Mode Switch allows the end user to switch through three separate modes, with each mode having completely different programmed functions for the entire controller. Thus, giving the end user up to 139 separate button functions. A total of 141 positions are possible if the axis has not already been programmed as keyboard strokes.
Part #200-571 Cost: $149.95
