Darbar not showing issue

Don't know what could've caused this but in LW Orange a few minutes ago, a rook raid came into A75 with absolutely no darbar.  When the darbar did appear I was under the assumption that it was an NOE raid into the base.  I turned back toward the base at around 15K or so.  To my surprise, there were several rooks (I saw at least 7-8 rook aircraft icons) at 15K or higher.  How is it that no darbar appears in any adjacent sector when planes are that high over the target base?  they had to have taken off a sector or two away to climb to that altitude....no darbar whatsoever.  I am only one of many who witnessed this.  I have the film of it so please tell me where to send it.  It is very strange to see a darbar magically appear (2 full sector darbars) with the opposing side appearing at 15K+. 

Ruined my whole damn strategy....couldn't swoop in on the NOEr's and shoot em up...they were co-altitude or above me...I hadda put the nose down and dive away ....damn rooks...sneaky bastages.  I bet they paid for a delayed darbar routine so they could get the jump on us

Such things are happening quite a lot lately, but it doesn't seem to be for all players at the same time.

A few nights ago on Baltic some players reported a huge full sector darbar over A41. For most of us, there was none visible at all. Only when they moved into my sector, the darbar suddenly jumped to full red. I was playing for some time at that point.

Yesterday I was on a 23k bombing run. Suddenly a darbar popped up in my sector, but at that time the enemy con was already in visual range. We weren't close to any sector border, nor did the adjacent sectors show any prior darbar.

Had a few converstions with fellow players experiencing similar stuff.

A squad mate pointed out to me since the changes back with the radar. That he had noticed that DAR bar won't show unless your with in 10k of enemy con. Did a few films & some screen shots & on all those occasions he seems to be right. Now not sure if it is on all maps as I only tried it a couple of times.

I still can't find any consistency. Even on the map (Baltic) where a full darbar was hidden from many (not all) of us until we ran into the cons, I was still able to see small darbars caused by high altitude bombers several sectors away

My thinking was that big 'shiney' bombers and formations are hard to hide and tiny fighters are hard to see and so bomber formations should be much more detectable. Seems to hold up that way. I guess it could be a bug but I like it if it is!
