"The Bourne Legacy" without Jason Bourne???? WTF are they thinking???

I really enjoyed the first three movies and I really enjoyed ready all of the Bourne series of books so far and I think that Eric Van Lustbader has done a good job of keeping the character and the same feeling with the character from Ludlum's writing but come on; Hollywood is really screwing this one up now. Something tells me that they will not be able to make the last movies that they want to for this series after this director screws up in this one.

Matt Damon for a long time said he will only do 3 Bourne movies.  I don,t blame him. Was he good as Jason Bourne... YES, would I like him to continue Yes.  But he said no more, and why blame the guy.   Look at James Bond and how many different people played him.  They have all pretty much been successful movies.


As for the plot for the new Bourne movie you might be surprised in what they have up there sleeve.  This is an interview with the director and he kinda explains what is going to go on with the next Bourne moive.  I am kinda excited.

Yeah I know all that stuff but I just can't get over the fact that the guy is wanting to make a movie based on a series without the main character at least making a cameo in the movie. Something just doesn't sound right about it.
