I have off days (almost everyday) and it disappoints me, but there is nothing like flying around in a P40B. There is so much to do in this game that when you get tired of one aspect, you can move on towards another.

Can't find challenging fights? I can't find the battles at my time anymore.

Take it upon yourself to make it fresh.  Fly a different plane. I do that every tour. Usually I get kills in 40-50 different rides.

Fly a different arena. been there, done that. EW and WWI are absolutely empty. MW has very few guys trying to sneak bases. DA is boring to me

Try the AvA. I better do not comment  

Try FSO.  Too late, too rigid

Try a Snapshot I gave up to participate in organized events.

Do something different to get out of your comfort zone. I do. I fly at 4am. I wouldn't call that "comfort zone"

i didn't fly axis at all. maybe i should've, for a littrle ego boost, as they seemed to turn much better than the allied stuff.

 i did like the challenge though, of making the sopwith do what the other guys didn't think it could do.........

Eh, I decided to just take a quick break, myself.  I'll be back in a couple months, refreshed and enjoying it once again I'm sure.

You are right on trying new things Dot.  I have participated in (and drug squaddies with me) in the SDL, AVA Challenges, Baldeagle's Dueling Bracket, Heavy Metal Events, and I am thinking about trying out the Racing league.  Variety is the spice of life!

Yo Snailman.... I've actually had this thought percolating in what passes for a brain for a while.  I see a lot of European folks frustrated with arena caps.  If they made a habit of spilling over to the AVA when they can't get into an arena it makes a fairly nice alternative in my opinion. 

I have to be honest.  I didn't think the WWI bit was going to do well but there were solid numbers in every time I logged in from 5:00 PM CST to (latest) 8:30 PM CST.  Now I'm looking forward to the next time we have an WWI set up because I FINALLY got my Camel turning well last night. 

It really only takes a hand full of folks giving it a solid try for a week or so to get the ball rolling. 

Just a random thought for you folks to consider.

gotcha, yesterday at 945pm EST there were about 6 people in there. at 1015pm EST there were about 18. at 1130pm EST when i left last night, there were 13people still in there. i agree, it is spotty in there though.

question#1.--and no we still have NO ENEMY icons. we seem to get more and more people because of this.

Too bad this will never work because

- If nobody is there, nobody goes there
- Players frustrated with caps at euro prime & US daytime are looking for the "massive" in MMO  - else they would simply join the 40 players LWB. So why should they go into empty AvA?
- Many (most?) players do not like the AvA setup. AvA is a good altenative for those looking for something different than the MA. That's why it's a bad alternative for those actually looking for MA style gameplay. If you look for something different than MA, it's the place to go.
