There's only one game I've enjoyed more than Fallout 3 for the PS3, and that was Borderlands.  I'll definitely be picking up a copy once I get some bills in order.  Unfortunately, if I want to play a one player game for hours on end, I'll have to buy the wife a few of her own.....

Well, here's to dreaming :)

Buy her The Sims 3, that should keep her occupied for awhile.

Thanks for the reminder Ack-Ack.  I was able to pick up my copy for the PC at lunch.

I was slightly dissapointed to find out I will have to install Steam.

The Sims aren't going to cut it - she's a full fledged gamer.  Borderlands was such a hit in our house because it was one of the few FPS that we could sit down and play the story mode in together.  Hell, we started dating because of Resistance 1.  Resident Evil 5 was also a huge hit for us.

On the other hand, she did really like Silent Hill Homecoming(?) and Heavy Rain.  Hopefully something along those lines will come up to keep her going for a few days.

Of course, all this and she hates Aces High

You should get her the updated Heavy Rain that is being re-released with compatibility with the Move controllers and the Move update for RE5.

I've been thinking of using that game to simulate a Vault Experiment, complete with all of the crazy art deco and atompunk designs.  It's an interesting game for learning about human nature, as you can control every inch of it if you are so inclined.

Looks like you can have multiple companions though at this point not sure how many.  So far I've got a sniper and a robot as my side kicks and both are pretty good at combat and the extra inventory space is nice.
