« on: October 18, 2010, 06:15:06 PM »
I'm lookin for a bench that inclines and declines...all I need is some 45's and a few 25's.

I looked on ebay and different sporting goods places but they want and arm and a leg

Or just suck it up and pay out he butt and drive 15 miles to the gym?

Ask some close friends and see if they have any they would let you use or buy.

I bought a $1500 dollar treadmill from a friend that is going to college and didnt want to keep it for $300

have you tried craigslist?  There's always something on there.

they are good too

Craigslist a good call, or just check out some garage sales.  Quite a few people have some crappy old sets lying around, but hey, it's not like weight has changed recently.

Ive started a push up, sit up, and curl workout. Its amazing how much better you start to feel in a short time. I dont want to be a doughboy this summer.

I'm leery of crossfit because the only people I know that ever got involved with that stuff got FAT(er).  Just sayin.

Switch the curls to squats and you'll have a nice quick workout.

That's right. Working out makes you fat. Even just thinking about buying the equipment from that list makes you fat.  :devil

Well lifting wont make you skinny it builds muscle...cardio is key to get truly fit.

But I like to do the upper body for appearance..pecks biceps triceps shoulders

Been 2 years since I finished college and dont have a free weight room anymore

I've never been there, but there is a chain of stores here that deal with used/recertified exercise equipment (treadmills, bikes, weights, etc).  I don't know if any are in your area but it's worth a shot:

And of course, there's Craigslist, garage sales, and goodwill, etc...
