The maintenance works are scheduled for October 21, 11:30 EST / 16:30 GMT. Reason: updating game servers to v. 0.5.5.1

Estimated downtime: up to 2 hours.

I don't think this is the update we have all been waiting on though...I really don't think we will see American tanks until after a soft wipe.

- 2 new maps: Komarin and Cliff.
- Adjusted speed of burning of all tanks during the fire. Now the tank will burn at about 5% of durability per second.
- Fixed collision-model of tank "Tiger I". Significantly decreased size of turret rotation mechanism.
- Balance and vehicle tweaks:
• StuG III, VK1602, SU-76 - decreased tracks repair time.
• StuG III - added rammer.
• Grille price increased from 140.400 to 147.100 credits.
• BT-7 - increased traverse speed for both suspensions by 4 deg/sec. 7% accuracy increase for the 2nd suspension added.
• Fixed truck rotation on SU-14.
• SU-26 – weakened platform rotation mechanism.
• PzIV – Hummel upgrade cost increased from 34.220 to 35.400 experience.
• KV - S-51 upgrade cost decreased from 144.730 to 127.320 experience.
• VK3002DB the 2nd suspension upgrade cost decreased by 4.000 experience, total VK3002DB - Panther upgrade cost increased by 4.000 experience.

I am just excited about the two new maps...hope to get on them here in the next few minutes after the download finishes.

I was in Armor Divisions/Battalions much during my career as an 11C (Indirect Fire Infantryman for the civies ). Providing Mortar (4.2"-107mm and eventually 120mm) fire support
for our M60's, then Abrams. Climbed in a few tanks in my day.
Always glad I wasn't a tanker. Glad I had to sleep in an icy, water filled mudhole, instead of the poor tankers who had to repair track in an icy, water filled mudhole.
We used to call them DAT's (dumb arsed tankers), then the Abrams came out with the computerized fire control/stab system. We called them CDAT's (Computerized dumb arsed tankers).
I've been out 15 years now.
Infantry was a hard road, but I miss it to this day,lol. My Class A's still fit. I've never taken my awards/badges off the jacket.
I'm sure there are many here who have been in a tank and understand tank maneuver.
With your avatar, I'm assuming you were Armored Cav.

Played over 30 rounds yesterday/last night after everyone went to bed...didn't see the new maps one fragging time.

Saw both maps last night in the only two matches I played later in the evening. Unfortunately, I did not see a lot of "Cliff" as I was sitting on the spawn when the servers horked, and they did not recover before I decided I'd had enough.

Both maps were pretty cool. I did notice a lot more warping after the update. Coincidence or a result of the update I don't know.
