CH and Saitek
« on: October 22, 2010, 05:35:51 PM »
I used to play all the time, was transferred to a different post and was not able to play, I'm getting back into the action soon and need some advice on the new stuff.

1) are CH products and Saitek sticks and panels compatible with each other?

2) can you use control panels in AH2?

3) going to build a Sim pit with functional gauges, panels etc.... Can it be used in AH2?

Thanks

As long as the panels are supported by Windows as either a game controller or keyboard device, then it will work, up to the number of devices that Windows will support. (16 I think, but it may be more with Win 7.)

If your talking about those MDF display panels that act as guages, radio comms or radar display,no AHII doesnt support that. However if your talking about the panels that connect to say saitek's flying yoke that has switches, buttons and levers, those are supported as Ghastly said.

I use the saitek throttle quad and an X52 setup with no issues,I think the game supports upto 16 input devices, again as Ghastly said.

I use a Saitek joystick & rudder pedals, a CH throttle, a Logitech keyboard and a microphone from some company I've never heard of and I'm happy to report all work fine.
