The recommended technique is to hit it with multiple small projectiles, usually made of lead, propelled from the end of a long rifled tube by the rapid release of chemical energy.  In this technique it is desired that the projectile's impact occur in areas that are vital to the vehicle's structural integrity, power production, or intelligent being piloting it.  Just my opinon of course.

Aren't you making a big assumption that there is an intelligent being at the controls?
