Where is the Honour that is supposed to be here.
You seem to have trouble distinguishing "honour" and "stupidity".
Do you also refrain from shooting anyone down unless they plainly know you're on their six and are maneuvering to avoid you?
It's a game. Strategy is part of the game. Sneakiness, concealment, deceiving the enemy as to your intent, and using assets strategically (which means not using them all if the risk is greater than the reward) are all part of the game.
Ratting out your teammates, even if they don't play the way you think they ought to play, is NOT part of the game. It is dirty, low, dishonest, unsportsmanlike, no-class behavior.
How about the "honour" of playing 100% for the team you're on at any given time? What happened to that "honour"?
Of course, you're free to take control of the task group and send it wherever you like. And they're free to send it back. That's part of the game too. You're also free to argue about it on country as long as you refrain from abusive language.
Btw, in case you hadn't noticed, you can still up any cartoon plane you like and go hunt the enemy anywhere you like even if your side has NO CVs in play. That's doubly true if your side has plenty of other CVs to use to attack enemy bases. You can even fly CV planes from land bases. Your game play is not diminished in the slightest. There's no less furballing, the other team isn't going anywhere and neither is yours.
The only problem here is one we see all the time, some players having their day ruined because everyone else isn't doing what they think they ought to be doing, and taking it on themselves to retaliate by ruining their day in return. Grow the "heck" up. You aren't the Grand Admiral of the Ocean Sea, everyone else isn't required to play like you say they should, and when you take it on yourself to try to spoil their game in retaliation for their refusal to obey your orders you're acting like a spoiled 5-year-old.
