That's what I'm thinking, will Tom Cruise play as a programmer this time?  :O

I like it, I think it might actually be a decent plot in it and will fit well into today's modern air superiority concepts... I'm calling the predicatable plot now though through the hints they've already dropped: $5 says Maverick is king and commander of Top Gun, takes a competitive and hard-line aproach to the use of new technology and different ways of doing things, internal strugle for first half of movie between fighter-jocks and drone-drivers, final half of the movie they get over their differences and work together for a grand kick-arse finaley where everyone except the bad guys win.

For those that didn't read the words in the story after "drones", the plot is gonna evolve around the rise of drone air superiority and the begining of the end to pilot-operated aircraft.  Sounds like they're writing the story with Maverick still as one of the main leads... so I'm guessing Maverick+Old_School -vs- Drones+New_School...  wonder what jet aircraft and drone aircraft they're gonna feature?...

Its not a water bottle it's an ecofriendly heat seeking missile with manual launch to further avoid polluting the air.  I may add they're made with 30% recycable materials.  It uses the new dihydrogen oxide compound which is similar to the regular explosive in the standard sidewinder but more ecofriendly.  All this. According to wikipedia :).
