The 262 is not enabled in the TA.  I've flown it once and the best advice I can give you is that remember you are not invulnerable.  It's really a picker's plane in my opinion, though it is a lot of fun to fly. Plus, you've got 30mm's which means you do have to get in close to hit your targets, and at that speed collisions are an issue.

The 262 is available in the TA.

Things to remember.

1) Always take 100% fuel. Always.

2) Speed is life.

3) See rule #2.

4) Dont get target fixation (really for anything you fly, but wth)

5) Dont land within 1 sector of enemies. You need some room to slow down and get a good landing.

6) Always make sure something isnt tailing you home. Dont want some pesky P-51 vulching your ride as you land.

7) Like Scotch said, EVERYONE will ho you. And if your lucky it will only be a fuel hit, and you will have already obeyed rule #1.  :aok

Feel free to add to this list. Just some things I have learned. Have fun in your jet!  :aok

9) Don't turn fight in them, which should be a given.
10) You are NOT the fastest plane in the game, P-47's can easily reach and surpass your speed in a dive and will.
11) If you are below 4k, really, you are way too low.
12) Furball situations are dangerous, best to not dive into those, especially with a 4:1 ratio of bad guys to friendlies.
13) If you find you may not pull up in a dive (fast and steep), use K to alter elevator position so that you can get out of the BnZ quicker.
14) Don't spray and pray, your cannon bullets are very lethal and do not require 50 of them to knock out a spitfire, conserve ammo.

That's about all I can add.
Landing is overrated.

Both jets and the rocket will. You just have to know how to bleed off excess E without stalling and biting the dust.

Also, I usually operate at around 5k. This gives me a little room to make shallow dives to grab speed incase (like fbwldcat said) P47's dive on me. Also, at 5k, im usually just at, or slightly above whatever furball im heading too, so I can just blast right through, or again, make shallow dives into the furball. Usually dont like operating higher altitudes, and I generally dont mess with bombers over 10-12k.
