« on: October 30, 2010, 02:44:59 AM »
Guys, i almost cry tonight in AVA.  No enamy icon, no HOing, no Ramming, no Whining on 200.  It just keep getting better in there.  For all who flies in there, keep it up.  And all the AVA CM, you guys are doing a hell of a job too.  :salute

ive been crying...   :cry   i cant stay logged in long enough to get off the ground...   i have had horrible disco issues the last 2 weeks.  Time Warner says its not them its something on my end but i just dont see how it could be.  I had no problems with DSL for years, switch to cable and ive had nothing but problems and thats the only thing in my setup that has changed.

Run a PingPlotter trace for 10 minutes or so after a disco.  Chances are there's a problem with one of the hops between Time Warner and the carrier that HTC uses (I believe AT&T in Houston).

This was a huge PITA about a year ago, and most of the issues were with the Internet Backbone provider that people's local ISP were using.  Either over-selling their bandwidth, or perhaps a faulter router or routing table that might be outside your local ISP's jurisdiction.  And of course the ISP's standard answer is always "It's never our fault, there must be something wrong with your computer/modem/settings/location/phase of the Moon..."

http://www.pingplotter.com/

just dl it and follow the instructions.

I don't think the game runs all that well on a wireless card.. any way you could hard wire it?

also dl glary free running through all of the steps and then installing gamebooster to shut down all of the processes you don't need when playing the game should help..

pm me if you need help

Haven't had time because of work. When I do have time I've been too tired. Went to the airshow in Ft Worth today Got to see an A-26, FM-2, and three different P-51s flying. As well as an F-16 F-22 and the Blue Angels. It all day fun in the sun. I hope to get in tomorrow tonight I'm wiped out and watching the World Series.

PS  I know it's a good setup I wrote it. :D I'm glad people like it, some I did turned out to be stinkers.
