My uncle owned a large dairy farm in upstate NY. Since he had 1500 acres of land, we'd always party in some remote corner with a keg of beer. One night, couple of my buddies on the football team got into the conversation about cow tipping and decided to try it.
Despite me telling them not to, they tried. It was absolutely hilarious to watch. First off, most milk cows don't sleep standing up. Many will go into a very relaxed state after they eat, as it helps with digestion. Many people assume they're sleeping, but they're not.
Anyway, 240lb. defensive lineman runs broadside into a 1200lb Holstein. It was like running into a brick wall. Leveled him. To add insult to injury, the cow turned on him and stepped on his leg, breaking it.
Having spent most of my childhood on a farm, I've never seen it happening.
Course, I never saw a cow hit my an aircraft, either.
