Nvidia23.11 driver problem
« on: December 06, 2001, 01:47:00 PM »
Couple of days ago I d/l'd the latest Nvidia Win9xME 23.11 drivers. Since then, whenever I'm flying, every 5 minutes or so I get a 2 second screen freeze.

Can anyone help me out with this? A squadie told me to re-install DX8.1 and old drivers...trouble is, I trashed 'em  :(

My card is G2MX400/64 meg

Thanks

PowerTweak diagnostics reported my MX-400 64mb was hogging the PCI bus.

I added a line to system.ini to limit memory allocation for AGP that seemed to help.

Place it at the bottom of the [386Enh] column, if it causes problems remove it with notepad.

You can get older drivers.  For the GF2 MX the 7.78s are good.  The 12.41s are OK too.  Both should be available at places like www.the-ctrl-alt-del.com
