B-29,,, I'm all giddy!
« on: November 04, 2010, 09:00:37 PM »
Been a long time since something this controversial/fun, has been added to the game!!!
It will help to take the new towns down,, it will revert things back a few years as far as bases are concerned,, the ones who have whined about the changes should be happy with the new monster!
It may even take the V-bases back to when all three hangers were on the same pad!
4-4000 bombs will make a mess of those spread out cities tho! and a second set with the 2000lbs bombs should do a nice job of cleaning up,,,,   good thing some of us have a lot of bomber perks that we had no Idea what to do with!
I have wasted many on 234's and mossies,, but they won't be hard to make back up!
Flying since tour 71.

You would think HTC would man up and do something truly unique in all WW2 sim history and introduce this glorious plane to the set:

Give it bombs, Torpedoes and an insane range. :D

I've been thinking about the nuke as well,  maybe we should have it,, limit the yield to one town and the airbase next to it, make it cost 3000 perks per bomb,IE formation of nukes 9000 perks!
and the bomb is perked not the plane,  if you drop it you lose those perks whether you land your plane or not!

The MiG-15 forced the B-29 into doing night time bombing raids.
