You are 100% correct. Do to SEO it was important to port the old pages to a new system. Changing the front page look now is not that difficult, but is the 2nd step.

This first change really was not intended to change the look.

I like where this is going, can't wait to see the finished product since I agree with some people that it's just missing a few things atm (like the animated clip of in-game footage, and the "Are you good at flight sims!  Start your free acount NOW!" image should read "Are you good at flight sims?...  Start your FREE account NOW!" or something more gramaticaly fluent).

On a side note, can we have some fun with this transition non-polished website phase? 
IE:  Just a guess, but is the web designer related to HiTech or at least attend the same English classes in school?

I think it looks cheesy and amatuer-ish. Those fonts got to go. The orginal page was better then the new page.

I like the new page. It is less cluttered, less busy. Most of all, I am very, very glad you ditched that dreadful blinking/flashing banner.  I always disliked that on the old page.
