Can't seem to log in.
« on: October 30, 2010, 07:56:57 PM »
Well, that is to say, as soon as I open an arena the game takes an abnormally long time to load, and then once it does finally load I get a 'host connection lost' error.
Not sure what the issue is?

I'm the worst pilot ingame ya know!!!

It's all unrealistic crap requested by people who want pie in the sky actions performed without an understanding of how things work and who can't grasp reality.

Maybe that's it... I had to download 2.21.2 and 2.21.3 (or whatever the two most recent patches were) to log in.
How do I check? Never had firewall issues before.

Typically, software firewalls will trigger each time you update the game, unless there is some option to permanently grant "aceshigh.exe" access through it.

It will depend on the firewall software.  If it is Norton, then all bets are off.

Having occasional issues connecting, no clue what could be causing it.

Run a PingPlot and see if you can catch where it is hanging up.
