Okay, for a moment let's abandon the historical conventions and be a bit creative.  If you could design the paint scheme of your favorite AH plane, what would it look like?  You can add modern references and be as gaudy as you like. I'm hoping some of you graphics geniuses will be able to realize your visions, but I'm kind of stuck just describing mine:

FW190 A5: Bright Blue above, white below, Iron Cross insignias, red tips  on the cannons.

FW190 A8: Black on top, white below, Red Eye of Sauron Insignia (Lord of the Rings)

P-38L: Painted like a Great White Shark.

F4U1A: All red, Canadian insignia with modern Canada flag on tail.

Almost all of my planes would have the "Yellow Squadron" colors from Ace Combat 4

My G2 would be purple with gold trim and spinners on the wheels, with Snow leopard hide seat covers.
