(Image removed from quote.)

yeah

US planes given another special preferential treatment

and why are japanese planes given US designations???
they should be given native, exotic designations

A6M for example should be "Reisen"
Ki 84 = "Hayate"
G4M = "Hamaki" (cigar)
Ki-67 = "Hiryu" (dragon?)
N1K2-J = "Shiden Kai" (purple lightning, mod)

because the majority of flyers in the game are american? :headscratch:

Because they are using the Allied codenames for the plane.  More people can tell you which Japanese plane the "George" was compared to which plane was the "Shiden Kai".

I get it, "special designations" are allied, western centric.

and for soviet and german rides... they get no special designations.

here's a clue...

IL-2  "Shturmovik"
Me 262 "Schwalbe" (swallow)
I-16 "Rata"
Fw-190A "Würger" (shrike)

I hear these HTC losers also put all the information in English.  What an egocentric "western superiority" complex they have.  It's like they believe they are making this game in Texas, USA.

Ju-87
Il-2
etc etc
