It's just another perfect example of what Hitech always says, the public doesn't know what it really wants.  

It shows the way the game is going though. 10 years ago a plane would have been voted in by it's "history", for what it could add to the game in a historic sense. One that fits as many rolls as it could be used for, FSO, senarios and such. Todays player picked the only one they recognized. Thank god it was used to drop the A bombs. Had it not had that big a footnote in history todays players wouldn't have known what to vote for.

They have payed the same amount for the same amount of product.  So they may have payed for years before me, but I also wasn't receiving the product during that time.

The simple fact remains, HTC put it in the poll.  They knew it was a popular plane and they wouldn't have put it in there if they weren't prepared to introduce it.  They have been in this business for a while now, and I'm confident they won't introduce a plane that will "destroy" the game.

I get it, I just don't think it would be beneficial in any way.  I'm assuming the poll was only open to people who are actively subscribed, I think their votes should carry the same weight regardless of how long they've been here.  If you're wanting to retain new people, you don't want to have something like this and tell them their opinion's not worth a darn because they haven't  been around long enough and/or given the company enough money yet.

In any case, enough hijack.  Hooray new airplane, or whatever.  I'm sure HTC has a plan to keep it from destroying the game.

Could be the most game killing addition to the game yet. I'll be waiting to see how they impliment it without killing the base game.

how can it kill the game? if the B29 is setup with no formations, the load out won't be as much as a formation of lanc's flown by one pilot, if they want 3 B29's in a formation then they will need 2 more people to fly the other two planes

I think the B-29 will be a good addition, if anything it will get it added and end the endless requests for it in the wishlsit forum.  Probabley bring in some more players who want to be bomber pilots IMO... which will eventualy lead to more targets for me to shoot down in my Mk103 armed 410. 



Now, on to bugging HTC less about the next plane to be added and more on these infernal arena caps.

If the Ar234 has formations then I have no doubt the B29 will have them. I really think a lot of people are doing the whole doom and gloom thing over nothing. Once the newness wears off the arena and will return to normal and the B29 will take it's place in arena usage.

yea I agree beef..people trying to plant seeds..WELL if it doesnt have drones it will be great.etc..etc....I mean come on..why not let it have drones???no reason why this bomber set should be any different from any others...
