Anyone a fan of Red Dwarf? This reminded me of the episode (Beyond a Joke?) where Able, another droid like Kryten but with serious processor damage from 'drug' abuse, is asked simple questions and responds with a series of extended animal groans as he repeatedly strives to arrive at the answer.
"What's your name?"
"Huuuuuuuughhhhhhhhh........"
"Hauuuuuuuaaaahhhhhhhhh..."
"Don't worry I'll get it in a minute hauuuuuaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh...."
