Missions..........
« on: November 17, 2010, 03:13:26 PM »
Another thread involving 800nate brought this question.

I do not do many missions, but wouldn't the ability to remove someone from a mission be a plus?

If someone is causing issues with the mission coordination or is known to share information with another chess piece. They can be removed.

Yea?? Nay?

As long as only the mission planner has this ability and I don't see it being abused either.  If the mission planner abuses it, he'll find himself all alone in a mission and no one will ever join his future missions.  It's rather self policing in that regards.

It would be a good feature to have.

No offense but you're just better off walking away.  Would you want your last day of AH be ruined by Shuffler repeatedly shooting your bellybutton down?

Considering the game dynamic, that would be a terrible idea.  It would not be possible to indroduce in a correct manner.

Nay, people will be upset that not only did the mission fail they would be kicked out as well. Plus you can just up out of the mission. I think this is more of a kid messing with you on vox kinda thing, which is why we have squelch.

I think this thread is a waste of time dealing with a kid named 800nate. Who has a slight thing for upsetting people with a largely filled vox.

Back to the perma-squelch thread.

Explain the game dynamic and how it would be a terrible idea.

Hmm.. Shuffler, you could probably press charges for this post. I mean, yeah we all laugh at it and such, and I know you won't, but I think that could be legally classified as a threat.

Just sayin, you might want to watch your mouth there Nate. Online, you never know which psychopathic, young man killing maniac you're talking to on the internet. Not that Shuffler is one, but ya nneevveerrr know  ;)

Yea?? Nay?

You would not stop them, they can always take off with the mission (not in the mission). The only way to stop them would be to prevent them from taking off a specific airfield and I seriously doubt HTC would allow us to do that.
