I don't agree with turning down the manned aks, If a guy has the skill to hit you so be it. The computer on the other hand is totally lame, I play this game to fight other planes as it is a "combat sim". Getting one shotted by nobody is really lame.

shoot if somebody really needs help from the computer ak to avoid me killing them, at least make the ak the equivalent of some complete noob who misses 90% of the time. not the equivalent of 3 or more baconator's in osty's sitting on each vehicle base or town. (he's a pretty good shot in a soft gun)

Base-taking would become laughably easy, if the ack missed 90% of the time...  De-acking would be childs play, then it's free reign.

Obviously you have your directions mixed up...I'm sure you meant "Turn up the ack"...yeah, thats the ticket..make it more deadly.

Some I suppose have forgotten not too long ago the ack fired cyclic into the sky.  Just last year this burst thing happened.  Deacking a field went from...you WILL die in the attempt to, you actually have a prayer.  I think field ack is just fine the way it is.  Now, as to accuracy, puffy ack is radar driven...so you have to vary your alt and heading to survive that.  fly straight through it, even at range, you will be toast.  Accuracy of field ack, yes, I think it is improbable for a field gun to hit a plane 4k away.  At the same time I think it improbable a tank 7.5cm wide round can hit a plane in flight from 1k.  But, those are just part of the game and you live with it.  The ack is now easier than it has been, further reduction in it's effectiveness would just be silly. 

As for AKAK.... pfft.  He does have a point, he just has no personality or filter.
